Position: Road Worker Supervisor: Routine Maintenance Region 1 (Malmesbury)

Salary: R171,537 per annum (Level 04)

Requirements

• Grade 10 (or equivalent qualification)
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
• Valid (Code EC) driving licence with professional drivers permit (PDP)
• Recommendation: Experience in civil construction activities, operating large construction machines, management and supervision of staff, administrative related experience

• Good understanding of road maintenance and repair

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Self-motivated

Duties

• Plan, supervise, and undertake road maintenance activities
• Determine material quantities for road maintenance activities
• Define road defects and undertake corrective measures
• Safeguard work areas in terms of the Occupational Health and Safety Act
• Train subordinates
