The aim of the Internship is to create a pipeline of staff with scarce skills relating to IT with international accreditation.

Purpose
The aim of the IT Internship is to create a pipeline of staff with scarce skills relating to Information Technology.
The initiative is based on a one year fixed-term contract, with the potential for full time employment on successful completion of the programme.
Training
As part of the internship you will complete 3 months classroom-based training and an International exam. You will then spend 9 months at FNB in an IT role, to gain on the job work experience. On successful completion of the programme, the business will have the option to offer you employment.

Minimum entry requirements
In order to qualify, you will need to have a Grade 12, an IT degree or IT diploma and be a South African citizen. Preference will be given to ACI candidates.

Application process
Applications will be opened annually from the beginning of June until the end of July. All applications need to be submitted electronically through the website.
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to take part in two assessments during August and September.

Should you be successful in the assessments you will be requested to participate in a business interview.
Final decisions and offers will be made in October and the programme will start in January the following year.
