To get in contact with Sassa you may use several options such as call centre, local offices, website, email or social media pages.

When Can I Send My appeal?
Sassa has recently announced that appeals for the current cycle will open from Monday, the 27th of June 2022.
Who can appeal?
Only applicants who have been declined from April 2022 can send their applications for reconsiderations.
Here are two ways to lodge Sassa Appeal for R350 2022 if it has been declined unfaily:
Submit your appeal online
Visit the Sassa appeal link which is the SRD Website: https://srd.sassa.gov.za
Step 1: Find the ‘Application for Reconsideration’ tab.
Step 2: Click on where it says ‘click here to apply for reconsideration’.
Step 3: You will be asked to provide your ID number and Mobile number.
Step 4: Follow the prompts to complete the reconsideration of your payment.
How to Submit Appeal via Telephone
Step 1: Call Sassa on 0800 60 10 11
Step 2: Select option 3
Step 3: Speak to the Sassa consultant to lodge your reconsideration request.
