Requirements:

• Grade 10 certificate
• One (1) to three (3) years’ experience in fieldwork
• Knowledge in association with safety
• Basic knowledge in using hand tools
• Valid unexpired driver’s license
• Computer literacy
• Communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team
• Accountability and ethical conduct
• Attention to detail

Duties:

• Assist with survey site preparations and field surveys, including loading equipment and carrying out site preparation according to instructions
• Carry and set up survey equipment, including clearing vegetation as necessary
• Prepare and maintain survey documents, deliver and collect required documents, and complete necessary request forms
• Assist with the use of boats for survey work, including loading, cleaning, and launching boats, and assist with surveys on board the boats
• Maintain and store survey equipment, including cleaning, reporting defects to supervisors, conducting visual inspections, and performing minor repairs
