We are excited to announce the availability of two Artisan Foreman Grade A positions within our Civil Maintenance Division, located at Hartbeespoort. This role is a remarkable opportunity to contribute to the Infrastructure Management: Northern Operation branch, offering a competitive salary of R344,811 per annum.

Key Requirements

• Qualifications: Applicants must hold a Civil trade test certificate.
• Experience: A minimum of five years’ post-qualification experience as an Artisan is required.
• Licensing: A valid, unexpired driver’s license is essential.
• Skills and Knowledge:
  • Proficiency in legal compliance and technical analysis.
  • Familiarity with computer-aided applications.
  • Strong background in technical report writing.
  • Expertise in team leadership, production, and process knowledge.
  • Proven problem-solving, analysis, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Creativity, analytical skills, and effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Competency in project management, planning, organizing, and execution.

Responsibilities

The selected candidates will be tasked with:

• Supervising the technical design and production of civil technical services.
• Ensuring the creation of designs according to specifications and recognized standards.
• Maintaining civil technical services, including the repair and servicing of civil structures and facilities.
• Performing administrative duties, including the maintenance of repair and fault registers and report compilation.
• Contributing to the civil maintenance plan and ensuring adherence to safety standards.
• Managing human capital resources, including the supervision and mentoring of staff and planning of maintenance work.
