How to Lodge an Appeal for Sassa SRD Declined
It has been recently announced that appeals for the current cycle of SRD R350 Grant will open from Monday, the 27th of June 2022. Those who have been declined but feels that they have been wrongly declined may lodge an appeal for Sassa SRD grants.
Who can appeal?
This time, it has been indicated that only applicants who have been declined from April 2022 can send their applications for reconsiderations. If you have not applied for the current cycle of the SRD grant, you cannot send through your appeal as your application is not on the Sassa SRD system

Steps to Submit Your Appeal Online
Visit the Sassa appeal link which is the Social Development Website: https://srd.dsd.gov.za/appeals
Step 1: Find the ‘Application for Reconsideration’ tab.
Step 2: Read the terms and conditions
Step 3: Scroll down and click on ‘Click here to lodge an appeal or check appeal status’ green bar
Step 4: Enter your ID number and cellphone number and click ‘Send Pin’
Step 5: Get the Pin and complete the remaining steps
