The financial tech company is offering to fund the education of a select number of students. It has set aside a fund specifically for this purpose. The Mukuru Education Bursary for Foreign Nationals is meant for international students pursuing their studies in South Africa. For the academic session 2022, the company will select only two candidates from any of the following fields of study:
- Business Analysis
- Information Technology
- Software Architecture
- Software Development
- Software Development Management
- Software Quality Assurance
The bursary will only cover the tuition fees and textbook costs. Students are expected to pay for the rest of the expenses. The company will decide on the value of the bursary on a case-by-case basis. Depending on the need, it may cover part of the full tuition cost. More details will be offered to shortlisted candidates.
Eligibility Criteria
To be selected for the bursary funding, you must fulfill the eligibility criteria. These are laid out by Mukuru to select the appropriate candidates. - Must have completed Matric successfully

- Must have registered at a South African University or University of Technology
Fulfilling all of the criteria, however, doesn’t guarantee funding. The final decision regarding the selection rests with the company. The list of bursars published by them will be considered final.

Therefore, apply as soon as possible. The company will announce the name of the winners on 14 February 2022.
