Requirements for retail jobs at Mr Price (and most other retailers) can be broken down into two main categories: education and experience, and skills.

- Retail: These are the classic Mr Price store positions you might think of first. They include store managers, assistant managers, sales associates, cashiers, and stockroom associates.
- Head Office: Mr Price also has numerous jobs at their head office locations. These include roles in buying and merchandising, finance and accounting, IT and technology, marketing and advertising, and human resources.
- Other: There are other departments that support the core business of Mr Price. These include distribution and supply chain management (warehouse managers, logistics coordinators), and specialists like data analysts, graphic designers, and trend forecasters.

Each programme has been carefully constructed, using the full suite of internal and external courses on offer through our Mr Price Academy. The programmes vary in length but generally cover the critical first 12-18 months of your time in the business. Your development will follow a blended learning approach incorporating formal classroom courses, online courses and most importantly on-the-job training with assessments throughout.
