Murray & Roberts Bursaries
Murray & Roberts offers bursaries for top South African achievers who wish to continue studying towards a BSc, B Eng or B Tech qualifications in the fields of Engineering (civil; mechanical; industrial; electrical and mining), Quantity Surveying and Building/Construction Management. The benefits will include registration fees, costs of tuition & examination fees, books, accommodation and food allowance.
Bursaries are awarded and renewed annually based on the student’s academic performance. A Group Bursary Coordinator will be appointed to provide much-needed support to bursary holders. A graduate network is also available to the bursary holders for support. All bursaries are granted on merit but black/Africans, Coloureds and Indian applicants are given preference. Upon graduation, bursary holders will be required to work for the company with the length of time equal to bursary duration which excludes In-Service training periods.
Murray & Roberts Bursary Requirements and Eligibility
- South African citizen / permanent resident
- Full-time students of a relevant degree and at an accredited South African university that is acceptable to Murray & Roberts
- Grade 12 academic results with Maths and Science
- University or university of technology acceptance for the specific course
- Minimum of 65% aggregate

As of April 2016, the company has ended the online application process. The selection panel will now deal directly with Universities to select deserving students for the bursary.
