Discovery’s “Our Talent Experience” programme is designed to help unemployed graduates and learners gain critical workplace experience while developing their skills in a supportive environment. The main components are:
- Internship Programme – A 12-month programme for unemployed graduates to gain real work experience related to their qualification, plus mentoring and skills coaching.
- Learnership Programme – A 12-month structured fixed-term contract that includes training and leads to a nationally accredited qualification.
- Other talent tracks include the Graduate Journey, Adrian Gore Fellowship Award, and GradHack (for IT students) offering special opportunities to showcase skills and fast-track careers
✅ Who Qualifies
For Learnerships
- Must be a South African citizen.
- Must be in Grade 12 (recent academic report required) or have a valid, recognised matric certificate.
- Between the ages of 18 and 30 years.
- Preference given to Employment Equity candidates.
For Internships
- Must hold a Diploma or Degree.
- Qualifications preferably aligned with INSETA requirements (scarce & critical skills).
- Must be a South African citizen.
- Employment Equity candidates are given preference.

- Screening
- Applications are reviewed to see if they meet the basic qualifying criteria.
- Engagement

- Assessment

- Selection
