Job Description: Hollywoodbets is seeking 3 Housekeepers for our Kenilworth, Wynberg, and Vasco Branches. If you’re passionate about maintaining cleanliness and hygiene and are ready to become our newest Purple Stars, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do:

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene at the office, ensuring the building is always clean and orderly.
• Clean and tidy work areas, including inside and outside of the branch and car park area.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors. Clean walls and dispose of refuse.
• Clean toilets and ensure service areas are neat during peak and quiet periods.
• Use cleaning chemicals and detergents appropriately and report any equipment issues or breakages.
• Monitor and maintain tables, chairs, and gaming areas.

What You’ll Bring:

• Housekeeping experience (Matric is a bonus).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to take initiative while maintaining quality of work.

We are currently seeking an experienced Casual Cleaner for our Whale Coast Village Mall store in Hermanus. If you are dedicated to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, we want you on our team!

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Minimum of 6 months’ cleaning experience
• Sound command of the English language
• Basic customer service skills
• Willingness and availability to work retail hours

Advantageous:

• Bilingual
• Previous retail store cleaning experience

Job Specification:

• Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the store, including shop floor, stock room, dispensary, admin office, and canteen.
• Develop routines to ensure all areas are consistently clean and organized.
• Ensure canteen and restrooms are clean and well-stocked at all times.
• Be available during operational hours to address cleaning needs promptly.
• Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment for specific tasks.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Regulations.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service when needed.
