POSITION: EMS Emergency Call Centre Supervisor
SALARY: R325 101 per annum
CHIEF DIRECTORATE: Emergency and Clinical Support Services

- Cape Winelands Centre (X1 Post)
✅ Requirements
- Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 continuous years in an Emergency Call Centre environment (call taking & dispatching).
- Previous supervisory experience is essential.
- Inherent Requirements:
- Ability to work shifts and overtime when required.
- Competencies (Knowledge & Skills):
- Proficiency in CAD (CareMonX) system.
- Leadership, planning, organizing, and control skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet).
🛠 Duties
Successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Managing and supervising shifts/components at the EMS Call Centre.
- Ensuring cost-effective management of allocated overtime.
- Handling HR management, training, development, and labour relations matters.
- Supervising and managing administrative requirements.
- Liaising with internal and external clients effectively.
- Providing support to colleagues and the Call Centre Manager.
