POSITION: EMS Emergency Call Centre Supervisor
SALARY: R325 101 per annum
CHIEF DIRECTORATE: Emergency and Clinical Support Services

• Central Karoo Centre (X1 Post)
• Cape Winelands Centre (X1 Post)

✅ Requirements

• Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 continuous years in an Emergency Call Centre environment (call taking & dispatching).
  • Previous supervisory experience is essential.
• Inherent Requirements:
  • Ability to work shifts and overtime when required.
• Competencies (Knowledge & Skills):
  • Proficiency in CAD (CareMonX) system.
  • Leadership, planning, organizing, and control skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet).

🛠 Duties

Successful candidates will be responsible for:

• Managing and supervising shifts/components at the EMS Call Centre.
• Ensuring cost-effective management of allocated overtime.
• Handling HR management, training, development, and labour relations matters.
• Supervising and managing administrative requirements.
• Liaising with internal and external clients effectively.
• Providing support to colleagues and the Call Centre Manager.
